Holistic Nursing

Holistic means that to look at the patient as a whole person with all of their systems being interconnected (mind, body, and soul) and not as a medical condition or diagnosing. Holistic Nurse is also called a complementary health nurse, is a board of licensed nurse that chooses to focus on the holistic aspect of traditional nursing care by using nursing expertise, theories, and experience to care for the patients. Holistic Nursing is a theory of nursing care and a way to support patient concerned with the integration of a person's mind, body, and spirit with their environment. Holistic nursing is exclusive in that it can be practiced within all other nursing specialties by applying the principles of holism to client care.
