Ruey Pyng Ng is an oncology-trained Assistant Director of Nursing. She is responsible for breast care education and breast cancer counseling, as well as coordinating, directing and evaluating nursing care, including the involvement of nursing research and clinical trials in the department. She is also actively involved with the KK Alpine Blossoms Breast Cancer Support Group and her concern to provide encouragement and emotional support to the patients has generated an increased interest and participation by the patients. Teresa graduated from School of Nursing, Ministry of Health, Singapore, in 1991. Having completed her Certificate in Nursing, she proceeded to Australia and completed her degree in Health Sciences at the University of Western Sydney. She then proceeded to University of Canberra to do her Graduate Diploma in Nursing. She also possessed Master of Education and Master of Arts, and attended a two-month Clinical Nursing Fellowship with the NSW Breast Cancer Institute, Australia.

Babak Motamedi is a Professor of Nursing at the Department of Nursing, Islamic Azad University, Dehaghan Branch, Iran. He has done BS from Tehran University in 1988, and MS from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences in 1993. He received his PhD in Nursing Science from Azad University in 2001. From 1993 to 2002 he served as Vice president of University Research Center and from 2002 to 2010 he served as the Department Chair at Islamic Azad University, Dehaghan Branch, Iran.

His research interest includes reducing health disparities through health promotion and disease prevention in underserved populations, the use of community based participatory research methods, prevention and treatment of chronic diseases, violence control in health sector and clinical research ethics.

Dganit Sharon is the head of the nursing department at Ruppin Academic Center, ISRAEL. Her main research fields focus on nursing education with emphasis on ethical and moral aspects, developing teaching programs and nursing professionalism with emphasize on quality of nursing care, promoting human rights and empowering patients. Her interest in Emotional Intelligence arose after years of experience as R.N in the maternity clinical field, nursing educator, clinical mentor, and finally as the head of nursing department. She believes that Cognitive Intelligence itself is not sufficient for predicting whether the nursing student will succeed in his or her studies and become a professional nurse. As a nursing educator, there is a need to consider the emotional intelligence as an influencing factor on the students' studying success and furthermore on their ability to face the challenges of the real world as professionals.

Dr. Tan has demonstrated high-performing skills and ability to serve in both academia and industry. Dr. Jeffrey Doucette is the Vice President of Magnet Recognition Program® and Pathway to Excellence® at the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Prior to joining the ANCC, Dr. Doucette was the Regional Vice President, Clinical Services and Chief Nursing Officer for Bon Secours Hampton Roads Health System in Hampton Roads, Virginia. He received a Master of Science in Health Care Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. Dr. Doucette completed his Doctor of Nursing Practice at Old Dominion University where he also serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor. Dr. Doucette has been practicing for over 20 years, spending the majority of his career in leadership and executive nursing roles. In addition, he serves on the editorial advisory board for Nursing Management Journal and speaks extensively throughout the world on topics of interest to nursing leaders. Dr. Doucette is a Robert Wood Johnson Executive Nurse Fellow and a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. He holds certifications as a Nurse Executive – Advanced, Certified Executive in Nursing Practice and is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.

Dr. Beth Ann Swan is Professor and former Dean at the Jefferson College of Nursing. Dr. Swan is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing, past president of the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing, and a 2007-2010 Robert Wood Johnson Executive Nurse Fellow. Dr. Swan has a distinguished record of extramural funding, publications, and presentations nationally and internationally on topics related to ambulatory care, care coordination and transition management, and technology applications for education and practice. She is Co-Editor of the text, Care Coordination and Transition Management Core Curriculum. Dr. Swan received her PhD and MSN from the University of Pennsylvania, and BSN from Holy Family University.

Dr S.Afshin Shorofi has attained his PhD from Flinders University of South Australia, where he subsequently started working as a Research Associate in Health Care for Older People. He is currently an Adjunct Research Fellow at Flinders University (Australia), and an Assistant Professor at Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences (MUMS-Iran). In addition, Afshin is the deputy head of the Traditional & Complementary Medicine Research Center and the Center for History & Ethics Studies at MUMS. Afshin is also holding an adjunct academic position in the Traditional & Complementary Medicine Research Center and is an adjunct researcher in the Orthopedic Research Center at MUMS. Afshin’s position includes research and teaching responsibilities, supervision and mentoring of undergraduate and postgraduate students. He is nationally well known for his publications so that he has published 17 books in the fields of Nursing, Midwifery and Medicine irrespective of his papers in peer-reviewed journals. Elected as an editor of Elsevier journals, Afshin is also serving several well-reputed journals as an editorial board member, an editorial advisory board member, or an associate editor. Dr. Catallo is an Associate Professor, Daphne Cockwell School of Nursing, Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2001) and PhD in Nursing (2009) from McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada. Cristina’s post-doctoral training (2009-2011), funded by the World Health Organization, focused on knowledge brokering interventions among policy audiences in Europe with Dr. John Lavis (Program in Policy Decision-Making, Department of Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada) and the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies (Brussels, Belgium). Dr. Catallo’s program of research focuses on evaluating knowledge brokering approaches and interventions among policymakers, decision makers and organizations working as knowledge brokers. Using systematic review and mixed methods research, Cristina is currently examining how organizations act as knowledge brokers to change evidence use and practice among various audiences.

Hana Kadhom has 34 years of experience in Nursing as a Practitioner and Educator. Her experience has been across the Middle East and UK. She has obtained her PhD from Hull University (UK) and she has Postgraduate Diploma from British Universities (in Nursing Education and Health and Safety). She is currently a Senior Lecturer and Director of Nursing Degree Bridging Program in Bahrain & Saudi Aramco.
